Dr. Winton Chong is a dedicated and experienced ENT surgeon with over 10 years of clinical expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, and throat disorders. He believes in combining evidence-based medicine with compassionate, personalized care, ensuring every patient feels heard and understood.
Dr. Chong received his medical degree (MD) from Universiti Sains Malaysia, and completed his specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery (MMed ORL-HNS) at University of Malaya. He also holds the MRCS ENT qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
In addition to his local training, Dr. Chong completed a 1-year ENT training program at RCSI-affiliated hospitals in Ireland, gaining valuable international experience and exposure to advanced surgical techniques.
He is particularly interested in minimally invasive treatments for nasal blockage and is passionate about helping patients breathe better and live more comfortably through modern, less invasive ENT solutions.
Dr. Chong is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and Bahasa Melayu, allowing him to connect with a diverse range of patients in Johor Bahru and beyond.
He is a proud member of the Malaysian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists – Head & Neck Surgeons and remains actively involved in continued learning and professional development.
